Dwarf

Some time ago I developed this project as a personal challenge in modular character design: a fully original dwarf built around a complete modular kit. The concept, modeling, texturing and rigging were all done by me, with the goal of creating armor, weapons and a high-quality Genesis 8 male character that could work together or independently. The result became three complete dForce products:

• Armor – a modular armor set built from multiple overlapping layers of scale, plate and cloth, designed for believable motion and a strong, readable silhouette.
• Weapons – hammers, axes and a shield with runic carvings that reinforce the character’s narrative identity.
• Character – the dwarf himself: weighty proportions and a solid, iconic presence, ready to inhabit any scene.

These renders are my way of bringing all those elements together in a single frame that emphasizes materiality, readability, and character. I’m always trying to build visual language, and this project was a clear example of that pursuit: the feel of metal, the implied weight of fabric, the sense that this warrior has walked through more than one fight.

For me, this piece encapsulates two core aims as an artist: strong technical 3D art and visual storytelling through design.
